Vacation Vogue

Hey everyone! Recently we visited US Virgin Islands for our summer getaway. These are a group of tiny islands in the Caribbean, right next to Puerto Rico. In this post I talk about a couple of outfits that I wore during the day around the island.

LOOK 1

If you follow my blog, you already know that I’m a big sucker for maxi dresses. So this outfit obviously made it in my suitcase. The dress is made of a light chiffon material and the back is open which makes it a perfect fit for a breezy vacation. Since every time we go to any place, we love to walk around and explore local attractions, I choose to wear flats. These flats from Nine West are my absolute favorite and has made it to every vacation for the last few years! I finished the look with a bead necklace, white sunnies and a cross-body bag.

LOOK 2

Charlotte Amalie is the biggest town in St. Thomas, dotted with quaint houses, ballast brick stairs and interesting places to eat. Since there was a lot of walking involved in the hot summer sun, I choose this off-shoulder floral dress from Pacsun. I again paired it with flats and small stud earrings. Blue reflectors and a colorful bag completed this look.
